A container on Marion Street is the new home of a free service to help people fix their bicycles.
“Bike Space” is open from 11AM to 6PM from Tuesday to Saturday, and has mechanics on hand and tools for the public to repair and maintain push bikes.
Bike mechanic Abe Hollingsworth hopes the service will get more people cycling.
“We aim to teach people rather than to fix their bikes for them. So hopefully people have more investment in their bikes because of their knowledge.”
Bike Space will be open until the 22nd of March.
